Thomas Cook India (TCIL), one of the largest travel players in the country, is planning to open 35 franchisee outlets across the country by December 2007.

The franchisee outlets will come up in Nagpur, Bhavnagar, Surat, Ahmedabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Karnal, Haryana, Punjab and Kerala. At present, the company owns 196 branches in 56 cities.

The travel major will open the franchisee outlets under its new network programme – Gold Circle Partnership – where it will join hands with small- and medium-tour operators to create a network of Thomas Cook-branded travel shops in B and C grade cities.

The outlets will provide a complete holiday offering to customers in the respective regions. The franchisee will offer a range of products and services. IT and telecommunications will also be set up at the location. The first franchisee outlet will be inaugurated in Ulhasnagar near Mumbai this week.

“This initiative is an endeavour to fulfil the needs of discerning Indian travellers across the country. Through this programme, TCIL plans to strengthen its customer base, enhance its market reach and promote its services and products,” said the company spokesperson. Thomas Cook’s Gold Circle Partner will set up the franchisee outlet according to the TCIL specifications. The cost of setting up a franchise will cost anywhere between Rs 9 lakh and Rs 12 lakh to the franchise owner. The franchisees will operate on a five-year minimum lease or ownership pattern and will recruit staff and manage administrative and payroll costs too.

Shop / Office Avl on Rent in Prestigious Mall (Business District of Pune)

This is a shop/ office on first floor facing main Bund Garden road.It is within a very prestigous new commercial mall build by Kumar Prop and called Connaught Place. This first floor showroom is very strategically located and has better visibility from Bund Garden road then even the ground floor shops. This is very close to Wadia college and Two five stars hotels. The place is ideal for a company who is looking for a location which has a very strong brand image.
