A Harvey Norman franchisee in the southern suburbs of Adelaide has admitted to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) a promotional campaign may have been misleading.
In 2005 and 2006, the Lunel company that operates the Harvey Norman store in Noarlunga, placed advertisements in a local newspaper promoting price savings on electrical goods like televisions, washing machines and microwaves.
The advertisement contrasted a higher price with the actual price at which the goods were offered.
Competitors complained the higher prices were unrealistic, and after investigating, the ACCC raised concerns with Lunel.
SchoolOfMusic.com recruits music teachers and then provides music lessons in students’ homes, teachers’ home studios, and after school programs. Their bizop is a must see!
