The Fort Morgan Times:

Morgan County businessman Guy Thompson has big plans for Tribal Tattoo, which moved into its new home at 606 E. Platte Ave., the site of the former Lighthouse restaurant, about a week ago.

It still offers the latest and best in tattoo and piercing, but is adding much more in order to become a prototype of a business franchise he hopes to spread across the nation, he said.

For instance, a hair stylist and manicurist will move into one of the rooms and a massage therapist into another very soon. Thompson said he plans to open up a wall for the massage area to install a hot tub for aqua massage therapy.

In time, he will add a takeout, delivery pizza and specialty food restaurant, serving out of the still intact and up to code kitchen, he said.

It is all part of his plan to create a unique franchise opportunity, which would open doors to a low-cost alternative for quite a few people who might not be able to afford to go into business otherwise, Thompson said.

The restaurant portion of the concept awaits a patent for his new finger-food line, which is based on recipes from his great-grandparents and has a French origin, he said.

I think that is the first tatoo franchise. It’s actually more than a tatto store. You can go there get a tatoo, a massage and a pedicure….. I can totally picture the 50 year old biker getting a tatoo and a pedicure at the same time, hehe
