Springfield-based Incredible Pizza Co. has increased its store list to 14 locations, with the newest opening in Monterrey, Mexico.
The company’s first Mexican location opened June 14. The franchisee, Gonzalo Barrutieta, is under contract to build 19 other Incredible Pizza locations, likely in Mexico and Central America. Barrutieta’s family has developed numerous other stores in Mexico and Central America, including Office Depot, Radio Shack and Mexican grocery chain Gigante Supermarkets.
Barrutieta said he first became interested in franchising for the company when he took his wife and five children to the Houston location.
