Total sales for the group’s franchised electronic goods stores, commercial divisions and other sales outlets in Australia, New Zealand, Slovenia and Ireland were up 16.5 per cent at $A5.34 billion ($NZ5.91 billion).
Sales from its operations in Singapore and from Rebel Sport were not included.
On a same-store basis, group sales were up 8.6 per cent for the period.
For the quarter ended June 30, total sales rose 15.4 per cent to $A1.36 billion, while same-store sales were up 9.5 per cent.
Chief financial officer Chris Mentis would not break down the figures for New Zealand, but said the group was happy with its operations here and was looking to expand.
