Swisher International, the world’s leading provider of commercial hygiene products and services, today announced that it has reacquired the master license for operations in the United Kingdom.
The license was initially purchased from Swisher in 1997 by the husband and wife team of Jeffrey and Marilyn Keen, who have taken this opportunity to announce their retirement.”We’re grateful for the stewardship that the Keens have provided over the past decade and we’re fortunate for the solid foundation that they have established,” said Bruce Mullan, chief operating officer for Swisher International. “Now we’re eager to take the organization to the next level by providing our UK franchisees a broader range of products and services to enhance existing brand awareness and market share.”
In addition its newly acquired United Kingdom venture, Swisher currently operates 43 company-affiliated and 39 franchised operations throughout North America and has entered into master license agreements covering Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Portugal, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Malta, Singapore, Philippines, China, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, Mexico, and Ecuador.
