ColorTyme Raises $30,000 For Kids Across America Charity During Annual Convention

ColorTyme’s 2007 National Convention, themed ‘Don’t Walk… Run,’ was held June 27-30 at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza in Cincinnati, Ohio.

One of the highlights of the annual meeting was the $30,000 raised by franchisees and ColorTyme’s generous donation matching program for Kids Across America, an organization that ColorTyme has supported for a number of years. Based in Branson, Missouri, Kids Across America exposes inner-city children to the great outdoors through sports camps. 5 thousand dollars of the money was raised from the auction of a Cincinnati Reds jersey autographed by baseball great and keynote speaker Pete Rose, who, in an unexpected charitable gesture, threw in 2 more signed jerseys which brought in an additional $5,000 each…
