The third new national home-care company to target the Sacramento area this year has signed its first local franchise.
Toria Dahl, who worked for a home-care agency in Southern California before she went on to work for an international staffing company in Modesto, will open Northern California’s first Synergy HomeCare franchise next week at 777 Campus Commons Road.
The new Sacramento office of Gilbert, Ariz.-based Synergy HomeCare is the first of more than 30 locations the company plans to open in California by the end of 2010. The company provides in-home, non-medical care to seniors and the disabled who require assistance with the tasks of daily living.
Synergy HomeCare follows Chicago-based BrightStar Healthcare, which announced plans in February to open as many as five franchises in the area, and Omaha, Neb.-based Right at Home, which sold a franchise in May and hopes to open four locations in the region this year.
