SIGN A RAMA, the world’s largest sign franchise, and EmbroidMe, the world’s largest embroidery franchise, have teamed up to open the first combined store at 2727 Hollywood Blvd., under the ownership of local residents Jose Duarte, Hussein El Fakih and Andreina Collantes. A grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for August 23.
SIGN*A*RAMA and EmbroidMe are part of United Franchise Group, headquartered in West Palm Beach, Fla. United Franchise Group encompasses several franchise brands, such as Billboard Connection, World Franchisors and FRANCHISEMART. This is the first time the company has decided to join together SIGN*A*RAMA and EmbroidMe in a combined store.
Before teaming up with his two partners to become a franchise owner, Duarte worked in the oil and gas industry for 25 years.
