PORTLAND, Maine — Amato’s Italian sandwich shop has announced major company growth through an eight-store development-franchising agreement in Southern New Hampshire, and a three-store development agreement in Bangor, Maine.
In addition to the new locations, Amato’s will be opening an Amato’s Xpress unit in Fairfield, Maine, later this summer with ongoing plans to open more Xpress units along the I-95 corridor.
The new contracts will bring the number of Amato’s franchised units up to 26 in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Amato’s also has 12 company-owned units in Maine.
