‘Cincinnati is a great city and has the type of demographics we’re looking for,’ said Paul Carolan, senior vice president of franchising and licensing for the parent Einstein Noah Restaurant Group.

The company, which has about 340 company-owned locations and 100-plus licensed locations including 18 in Ohio, is looking for several experienced restaurant operators in the area each capable of opening 3 to 5 stores over the next few years.

Each of the stores, which cost $500,000 to $800,000 to build, range from 2,500 to 2,700 square feet with seating for about 50 and are typically in retail strip centers, ideally with drive-through windows, he said.

Einstein’s stores, which feature WiFi, TVs and what Carolan called ‘quirky’ comfortable decor, typically employ 12 to 25. More.

WOW! Pretty expensive build out for a bagel shop.
Is this a re-launch of their model. I knew they were around a few years ago, and had some bumps in the road. I hope they do well!
