A FIRM which turns established companies into franchise operations is rolling out its format in Ireland.
The Franchise Group , based in Altrincham, has recruited a managing director for the Emerald Isle.
Shane Creegan, 47, from Co Meath, expects the company to flourish there.
“The Irish franchising market has experienced huge growth over the last five years, with over 200 established franchises already.
“There is lots of room for further growth in Ireland as new and different franchises continue to enter the market.
“There is a great entrepreneurial spirit in Ireland, with research showing that almost one in 10 of the adult population is actively planning or has recently set up a new business.
“In the coming months we will be recruiting partners and growing our presence here.”
Franchised
The Franchise Group, established in 2004, is headed by managing director Peter Finlay. More than 50 companies have franchised their businesses with the group.
