Joseph Lau, managing director of McDonald’s operations in Hong Kong, has been placed on leave by the company following reports he was arrested in a bribery probe.
Several Chinese-language newspapers reported that Lau had been arrested following complaints that food distributors paid bribes to have their products used in McDonald’s outlets in Hong Kong.
