The executive hired two-and-a-half years ago to turn around pizza chain Pizza Inn Inc. has resigned, effective immediately, the company said Wednesday.
CEO and President Tim Taft told the company he was resigning to pursue other interests.
The Colony-based Pizza Inn has named Chief Financial Officer Charlie Morrison as interim CEO.
“I am proud of the progress that Pizza Inn has made in the past two and a half years toward our goal of increasing sales, profitability and the revitalization of the franchise system.
