IFA:

A firm misrepresenting itself as Wall Street Journal sales professionals offering a franchise opportunity in the Sunday Wall Street Journal have been contacting some franchise systems in the past 60 days.

According to Journal staff, some are using the contact name of Victoria Gleizer, advertising manager, and offering a full-page Sunday Journal opportunity for $995 and a ‘complimentary button’ on wsj.com for the month of September.

This claim is false, staff say, and the newspaper has no affiliation with this person or company nor does it offer any franchise advertising opportunities with its Sunday partners. Be alert to this or any unsolicited offer, and always demand official verification.
