A California company that was once Krispy Kreme Doughnuts’ biggest franchisee has filed for bankruptcy.
Great Circle Family Foods LLC, based in Los Angeles, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Santa Ana, Calif., according to a report from The Associated Press.
The company owns nine Krispy Kreme stores and manages three others in southern California.
