An official of a consultancy firm is encouraging businessmen to spread the culture of franchising to the provinces to maintain and sustain the country’s vibrant economy.
Rodulf Anton Kotik, RK Franchise Consultancy president, pointed out that most of the franchising activities only happen in urban centers.
He urged businessmen in an interview with Cebu Daily News on Friday to also consider franchising as a viable means of engaging in business.
‘It is still the safest way of investing (in business) and is proven to be profitable,’ he said.
Kotik also said that the growing number of investors interested to get a franchise is a good indication that the industry helps boost the economy.
And the growing number of people engaged in franchising is one of the reasons why malls expand.
‘I have no end sight for franchising in the Philippines. It is definitely growing,’ he said.
RK Franchising Consultant and Filipino International Franchise Association (Fifa) recently organized the 8th Cebu Franchise Expo, which aims to inform prospective investors about franchising and link them to credible franchise companies.
