One of the world’s top stationary makers, the $15 billion company Office Depot is logging on to the India story.
The pen currently makes up for 50% of the market in stationary but that’s widely changing and paper, publishing, computer and office equipment is now becoming a large space. Urging many large organized players to tap in.
Sources say that Office Depot plans a joint venture for Indian market but is not ruling out the franchisee route either. Meanwhile, Kishore Biyani is already in a venture with Staples, America’s largest office supplier…
