Since the first empty cartridge was returned to the Lasertech warehouse for recycling in 1989 the Lasertech Recycling Programme (LRP) has steadily grown to become one of Lasertech’s main unique selling points. Since 2003 Lasertech have also held an ISO:14001 which is the current environmental management system standard.
With the LRP their customers can return empty ink or toner cartridges and receive a credit back onto their account and even have the chance to donate upto 20% of that credit to a chosen charity. Clearly the growth shows this is well received by Lasertech customers.
Customers who buy their office products and printer cartridges from Lasertech and Lasertech Franchisees are able to get their empty cartridges collected and recycled free of charge and as a “thank-you” receive a valuable credit of up to £3.00 per cartridge. The range of ink and toner cartridges that Lasertech accept 584 which covers most of the popular brands including HP, Epson, Brother, Samsung and obviously Lasertech’s own brand.
