Domino’s Pizza LLC’s World Resource Center was once again named one of Michigan’s “Cool Places to Work” by Crain’s Detroit Business. Domino’s initially received the designation in 2005. The award will be presented on Oct. 4 at the Emagine Theater and Lucky Strike Lanes.
The “Cool Places to Work” competition was established to honor companies that work with imagination and conviction to create organizational value and business results through their programs, policies and practices in human resource management.
Part of what makes Domino’s a “Cool Place to Work” is the friendly, fun environment encouraged before new team members even walk through the door. A Pizza Box Welcome Kit is delivered to new members’ homes before their first day.
The box is stuffed with Domino’s goodies, information about the company and a warm welcoming message to show Domino’s excitement about the addition of new faces. Of course, it also includes gift certificates for free pizza!
