Mongrill LLC has purchased a former Tony Roma’s restaurant in Altamone Springs to convert to bd’s Mongolian Grill.
Tarpon Springs-based Mongrill LLC, a franchisee of bd’s Mongolian Grill restaurant, bought the 6,052-square-foot building on South State Road 434 for $2.2 million from Romacorp Operating Co. Inc. The Altamonte Springs location is expected to offer free Wi-Fi, patio seating and a full bar with plasma TVs. The restaurant is slated to open by December, franchisee Dave Ulgenalp said in a prepared statement.
This will be the first bd’s Mongolian Grill restaurant in the Orlando area and the third in the state. Other Florida locations include Lakeland and Oldsmar.
