Reading, PA— Seniors Helping Seniors® In-Home Services® (SHS), the national caregiver organization that matches seniors who need in-home care with seniors who provide them, continues to grow and will hold its first annual meeting from September 28 through 30, 2007 at the Hartford/ Windsor Marriot Hotel at Windsor, Conn.
Seniors Helping Seniors, which launched its for-profit franchise family in 2006, now has master license holders and franchise partners in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Seniors Helping Seniors provides non-medical services such as household assistance, companion care or 24-hour care. Its mission is “to provide seniors with the ability to choose an independent lifestyle in their own homes for as long as possible with the dignity and respect they deserve by finding caring seniors to help each other.”
The organization’s first annual convention, according to Philip Yocom, who manages the Seniors Helping Seniors franchise system, will provide an excellent opportunity for master license holders, franchise partners and support staff to share experiences and exchange ideas about the best ways to help seniors remain independent and living in their own homes.
