Duayne Weinger, Chairman of the Board of Hollywood Tans, LLC – the fastest growing tanning franchise in the United States as ranked by Entrepreneur Magazine – announces the appointment of franchising veteran J.J. Sorrenti to the position of Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
I am pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has appointed J.J. Sorrenti as Chief Executive Officer of Hollywood Tans,” reports Weinger. “J.J. comes to Hollywood Tans after serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Huntington Learning Centers, and a successful track record at GNC.”
During his time at Huntington Learning Centers, the company experienced the most rapid expansion growth in its 30 year history. Prior to his tenure at Huntington, Mr. Sorrenti spent nearly 15 years leading the franchise expansion at GNC, where he had P&L and store operations responsibility for 2,300 locations in the United States, and 700 global locations in 42 countries.
