Immigration Officials Raid 11 Nevada Mcdonald’s, Arrest Dozens

At least 56 arrests were made following raids by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents at 11 McDonald’s restaurants and a corporate franchise building in northern Nevada.

The raids, which were the result of a 5-month investigation, have been criticized by Reno Mayor Bob Cashell; meanwhile, an owner of some of the restaurants that were raided said in a statement that he requires employees to provide documentation. A spokeswoman for McDonald’s Corp. said the company had no comment on ‘a local situation with a local operator.’
