Even as Starbucks and Future Group chief Kishore Biyani have called off talks to launch Starbucks coffee in India, coffee aficionados here may still get to taste the world famous beverage brand. Though, maybe not immediately.

Starbucks coffee would be sold through the soft drink company’s distribution channels, including grocery and convenience stores ‘as well as other locations’. The 2 American companies already have a distribution alliance in the US and Canada.
In the joint announcement late last week, Gerry Lopez, president of Starbucks Global Consumer Products Group, said, ‘This could include countries that may not currently have Starbucks stores.’
