Papa John’s International Inc., the country’s third-largest pizza chain, is suspending its franchise-fee requirement in certain markets for a limited time, according to the company’s Web site.
Markets included in the offer are Buffalo, N.Y., Albany, N.Y., Boston, Chicago, Detroit, California, Connecticut and New Jersey.
The normal franchise fee for a Papa John’s franchise is $25,000.
