Gap Invades The Philippines

Gap Inc. is upping its commitment to international expansion through franchises.

The company said Tuesday that it, with help from its franchise partner Rustan Group of Cos., will open 8 Gap stores and 4 Banana Republic stores throughout the Philippines over the next 5 years. The first Gap store will open by year’s end and the first Banana Republic will open by spring 2008.
