Puppies As Good As Babies

There are an increasing number of professional couples putting off having children and are buying puppies instead.

According to research carried out by Oscar Pet Foods, young professional women in the UK are delaying having a family until their mid-30s but there is increased puppy ownership among the 29 to 33 year-old age group.

Oscar Pet Foods franchisee Jackie Hoy, of Cotleigh, said: ‘Our research has found that a quarter of our customers are young professionals without children.’
