Take a bite out of a fish taco – or surf taco – in one of the new chains popping up around Southern California and you may swear you heard someone say, ‘Cowabunga, dude.’
It could be that many fish taco chains are located near beaches – or it could also be the hanging pictures of extreme skiers, the snowboards and surfboards hanging on the walls and the skateboarding videos playing on the televisions.
The invasion of the killer surf taco – the fish taco, the Baja-style taco, or whatever you want to call it – has arrived on the shores, or thereabouts, of Long Beach.
