Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory has been ranked number 60 in the Forbes annual listing of “America’s 200 Best Small Companies” - an accolade which adds to what has already been a good year for the company.
The US firm’s overall ranking of number 60 shows it t is moving on to the top end of the table, last year it ranked 124.
The list is compiled from publicly trading companies with sales between $5 million and $750 million.
To qualify, a company must have a share price above $5.00. Qualifying candidates are ranked according to return on equity, as well as sustained sales and earnings growth over 12-month and five-year periods.
