CKE Restaurants, parent company of St. Louis-based Hardee’s Food Systems, sold 26 Hardee’s restaurants in the Peoria and Quincy, Ill., area as part of its ongoing strategic refranchising program that was originally announced in April.
Shree Krishna Food LLC bought the 26 restaurants and committed to build six new Hardee’s restaurant locations in the Peoria and Quincy markets over the next six years.The refranchising program is expected to involve about 200 Hardee’s restaurants across the Midwest and Southeast, according to a release.
