A new era in the printing industry is forcing many independent printers to either spend a small fortune on upgrading equipment or to sell out to larger players with deeper pockets.
And a Michigan-based company is helping them do just that.
Allegra Network LLC, a print and graphic communications company that owns the American Speedy Printing and Insty-Prints consumer brands among others, has started a program that identifies midsized independent business-to-business printing operations whose owners want to sell and matches them with franchisees who have gone through Allegra’s vetting and training program.
