Rural cyber café chain operator OneRoof Service Private Limited, a subsidiary of a US-based firm, has decided to expand its network in rural areas of south India through the franchisee model.
Starting commercial operations in 2006, the company, a 100 percent subsidiary of the US-based OneRoof Inc, has 10 centres in Tamil Nadu.
With its centres earning between Rs 25,000-Rs 40,000 a month, OneRoof Services is confident that its business model would succeed while spreading the Internet connectivity in rural India.
