A woman has swapped her savings for sandwiches.
Ex-bank manager, bar and restaurant owner Wendy Harrison, 39, has set up shop as a franchisee with O’Briens in a new store which opened on The Mall, St George’s, Preston, at the end of November.
She said: ‘I felt the chain embodied the same ethics and business values that I support,’ said Wendy.
‘My dreams of going solo and advocating delicious healthy food have now become an exciting reality for me, and I’m confident O’Briens will go down well in the shopping centre for its alternative, freshly made offerings.’
Wendy plans to open 4 stores within the area in the next 3 years.
The new Preston outlet accommodates 50 covers and will be run by a 15-strong team.
