New Franchisee Reopens Huddle House

The Huddle House in St. Augustine has reopened for business under new ownership.

Les Crone, who was the manager at the Huddle House for 3 years under the previous franchisee, reopened the full-service family restaurant at 2369 State Road 16 Dec. 13.

The former franchisee, who owns numerous locations in Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida, closed the only St. Augustine Huddle House in October. Crone, who also owns the Dick’s Wings franchise in St. Augustine, found out the restaurant was available through the subcontractor who washes windows at both the Huddle House and Dick’s Wings.
