Ash Robinson seems like most 26-year-olds. Her favorite band is The Black Crowes, she has a boyfriend and loves going to concerts and bars. But don’t let that fool you.

In June, Robinson bought Solana Beach-based J.W. Tumbles, a children’s gym franchise that she is planning to expand from about 30 franchises to roughly 100 during the next 2 years.

‘I must have a defective thing in me that I don’t see the risk or I don’t care,’ said Robinson, who flies around the world helping franchisees open and operate gyms. Read full story.
