Bangalore-based Adigas Group of Hotels is looking to enter New Delhi and Chennai by 2008-end. It recently conducted a survey in the 2 cities with a view to develop 100-seater restaurants in each. The proposed properties are expected to be developed using the franchisee model.
The group will consider cities such as Hyderabad, at a later stage. ‘A vegetarian brand like Adigas does not make much business sense in Hyderabad. However, we would like to make our presence felt in such cities too,’ says Vasudeva Adiga, MD, Adigas Group of Hotels.
