An entrepreneur predicts Charleston’s latest lunch spot will be a hit in a high-traffic location vacated by 2 previous sandwich makers.
The new sub and sandwich shop – Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches – is scheduled to open early next month on the southeast corner of Capitol Street and Virginia Street East.
‘We still have about 4 weeks of construction to finish up,’ said franchise owner Jeff Cole. ‘The interior is being completely re-done.’
Jimmy John’s signature sandwiches come on an eight-inch French roll. ‘We’ll also offer a seven-grain wheat bread,’ Cole said. We’ve got about 18 sandwiches that are pre-determined. You can modify them by asking for no mayonnaise or no tomatoes or extra tomatoes, additional peppers, and so on. Read full article.
