Del Taco today announced the opening of its 500th restaurant after 45 years of operation. The new company-owned 24-hour restaurant is located at 2515 N. Hollywood Way in Burbank, California.
To commemorate the opening, Del Taco is hosting southern California firefighters for a free meal on Thursday, Jan. 10 from 7 am – midnight at the Burbank restaurant.
Reaching 500 restaurants is an important milestone for the nation’s second largest Mexican quick serve chain that began as a taco stand that also sold burgers in Yermo, California in 1961.
