Tehnosila, the Russian home electronics retail chain, invested $12.5m in the launch of 5 hypermarkets covering a total area of 14,400 square meters in
Russian regions, bringing its overall number of stores to 186, the company’s press office reported.
The chain’s new stores are located in Samara, Nizhny Tagil, Vorkuta, Vorkuta, Biysk, and Oryol. The Tehnosila chain now embraces 138 Russian cities, including 82 retail outlets operating under franchising agreements, 27 stores in Moscow and the surrounding area, and 159 in other Russian regions.
