Geoff Baker, founder and president of Easywash NV Inc., a carwash powered by a hydrogen-fuel cell, is on the prowl for environmentally-conscious investors, according to The Vancouver Sun.
Baker, who spoke to Professional Carwashing & Detailing for its February cover story, ‘Go Green,’ recently appeared on the first episode of Fortune Hunters, a show on CBC-TV that explores money-making trends in the business world.
The Jan. 16 story said Baker opened Easywash in 2006 with his wife and business partner Laura-Lee Normandeau, but ran into some financial troubles, although it is profitable. Baker said he needs to raise about $500,000 to shore up a cash-flow position for the company.
