From the start, our story has been one of constant progress. We helped to found the British Franchise Association in the UK, are members of The Irish Franchise Association in Ireland, and were the first-ever print company to be awarded Business Superbrand status by the Brand Council - the world’s leading independent authority on branding.

We’ve always been a market leader - ever since our founders Edwin Thirlwell and Ken Clement opened their first Prontaprint centre way back in 1971. Now you could play a part in building on that success.

Edwin and Ken had a simple idea. They made high-quality design, print and copying available to everyone. Their idea proved so popular that Prontaprint now has a network of 175 franchised centres across Ireland and the UK - many with a turnover of well over 1 million euros a year.

We’ve always been ahead of the pack in using the latest technology and these days we focus our sales effort on the lucrative market for business print. Today, we’re a 75 million euros organisation with many blue-chip clients including Hush Puppies, British Airways and Dixon Stores Group.
