The most valuable asset a vacation ownership developer can posses is not its physical properties or the product it sells, but its people … especially when genuine passion and an indomitable spirit to succeed fuel a company’s corporate culture.
In announcing promotions of 5 senior management members, Shell Vacations LLC Chairman and CEO Sheldon Ginsburg enthused, ‘2007 was one of the most profitable years in our company’s 44-year history. Today, we are experiencing amazing momentum. All of our engines are on full-speed ahead and driven by a dynamic team with professional credentials that collectively total over 100 years in the timeshare industry. They are perfectly positioned to lead Shell Vacations into the future.’
Since promoting Tracy Sherles to President of Shell Vacations LLC, (a position he previously held), Ginsburg will now concentrate more on strategic plans for the company. He will remain Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
‘In her 9 years with our company,’ said Ginsburg, ‘Tracy has proven to be a consummate expert in program planning and development and ground-to-ceiling management. An authority on points-based vacation systems, she single-handedly built our Shell Vacations Club from scratch into the multi-million dollar program it is today. Tracy truly exemplifies what it is to be a leader, and I am proud to have her in this prominent position for Shell Vacations.’ (Sherles also oversees Shell Vacations Hospitality and Shell Vacations Systems (SVS), the franchising initiative, which she created.)
