The owners of the former Doc Green’s in Naples and Estero are suing the corporation that sold them the brand.

Six people who purchased Doc Green’s franchises from Atlanta-based Raving Brands allege in the suit that the company misrepresented the success of the franchise and their system for developing it.

Trent and Richard Schofield, owners of the Tampa-based Schofield Restaurant Group that owned Doc Green’s locations in Tampa, Naples and Estero, are among those who filed the suit.

The suit, filed in federal court in Atlanta, asks for an accounting to determine damages and that the court award damages for financial losses and anti-trust violations, along with attorney fees.
