MCDONALD’S, which runs 74 outlets in Ireland, had a turnover of €85 million last year.
That figure includes rental on leased properties as well as the sales generated by its Irish outlets.
The group employs more than 3,500 in its 74 outlets and boasts a total of 40 nationalities between its counter and backroom staff.
McDonald’s is the largest buyer of Irish beef in the EU, while Ireland is the second most important EU supplier of beef to McDonald’s after Germany.
