Brooklyn Carvel Franchisee Richie Stakofsky Wins

A local Brooklyn business owner, a Carvel Ice Cream franchisee, has been honored by the company for his success in running his Brooklyn business.

Richie Stakofsky, whose store is at 2166 Bath Ave. in the Bath Beach/Bensonhurst area, is the recipient of the Joe Miragliotta Mentor Award in recognition of his efforts ‘to advise, help and communicate his operational expertise with his fellow franchisees.’

Stakofsky received this award during Carvel parent company FOCUS Brands’ recent bi-annual worldwide franchise partner conference in Orlando.

Carvel’s Mentor Award is named after its first recipient, Joe Miragliotta, for maintaining a solid reputation for communicating, assisting and supporting other franchisees.
