Subway Opens Its 200th New Zealand Store

The US based submarine sandwich store franchise Subway has opened its 200th New Zealand outlet. The store, which was opened by joint franchisee owners, is located at Auckland International Airport. The franchisee owners are Tony Redmond, Chris and Irene Young and Linda De Lautour.

‘It’s an exciting franchise to be part of, and New Zealand consumers have really embraced the Subway concept,’ says Chris Young, joint Subway franchise owner. ‘More than 10 million passengers a year pass through Auckland International Airport - that offers huge potential for a popular franchise such as Subway.’
