The coffee and doughnut assault on Dallas-Fort Worth has officially begun.
Dunkin’ Donuts opened the first - at Campbell and Preston roads - of more than 150 new stores planned for the area over the next few years.
The expansion into the Metroplex is long overdue, said Barry Zale, COO for Texas Donuts LLC, a Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee.
The updated store design boasts a new menu, including flatbread sandwiches, personal-sized pizzas and breakfast sandwiches. But the company is most known for its hot and iced coffee, selling more than 1 billion cups a year in restaurants across the country.
