County Executive Jack B. Johnson co-hosts the 2008 Franchise & Finance Symposium with the Prince George’s County Small Business Initiative, Prince George’s Financial Services Corporation, The International Franchise Association (IFA), and Congressman Albert R. Wynn, 4th District Maryland.
The Symposium will focus on franchise opportunities for women, minorities and veterans. It will also provide franchise companies with opportunities to identify new prospects and markets. The event is being held on Thursday, March 20, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center on the campus of the University of Maryland in College Park. This is the first time that IFA has held this symposium outside of Washington, D.C.
