Italian coffee brand illycaffe announced the arrival of its luxury cafe chain in India. The company has partnered with Narang Group, distributor of high end beverages, as master franchisee for the same.
“This partnership will enable us to open five ‘espressamente illy’ cafes within the year and continue to a total of 35 over the course of next five years,” Andrea Illy, chairman, illycaffe said. The company however declined to share any investment figures.
The cafes will carry the ‘espressamente illy’ brand name. The company has opened over 175 such cafes in over 30 countries.
